Job summary

Peraton is seeking a skilled AI/ML specialist to design, develop, test, and deploy advanced models for mission-critical national security programs. You will build models that learn from data, generate accurate predictions, and align with customer objectives, while maintaining robust data governance and scalable architectures.

The role requires strong statistical analysis, experience with ML libraries, and the ability to lead distributed teams and communicate complex results effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of applied ML experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, Bayesian statistics), Computer Science or related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 4 (6 years total) additional years of machine learning experience on similar projects may be substituted.
• Minimum TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys AI/ML algorithms to address complex business challenges and mission requirements.
• Develops models capable of learning from data, generating accurate predictions, and aligning with customer-defined logic and objectives.
• May lead geographically distributed teams and serve as a primary point of contact for AI-related initiatives.
