Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is hiring for a Store/Warehouse Associate responsible for processing donated merchandise for sale to salvage vendors. You’ll sort by category, inspect quality, and maintain accurate weight records, while following safety rules and PPE requirements.

The role includes training in multiple sorting positions, potential cross-training to Runner or Salvage processing, and a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Meets minimum daily quota of 1,000 pounds or more in sorting.
• Inspects donated merchandise for quality, condition and categorization.
• Records weights and categories on tally sheets; prepares for next day.
• Cross-trains to work as a Runner or Salvage processing as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe workstation and reports safety hazards.
• Supports safety policies and uses required PPE at all times.
