Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites you to join as Administrative Assistant I - Clothing Admin at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. This role supports residents by managing clothing inventories, purchases, labeling, and ensuring clean, well-fitting attire in a home-like setting.

You will collaborate with Home Supervisor and care teams to maintain dignity and independence for individuals served.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic sewing and clerical skills preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Experience with clothing inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stock, purchase, label, sew and deliver clothing items.
• Assist individuals with clothing sizes and preferences.
• Maintain accurate clothing measurements and inventories.
• Prepare paperwork for clothing purchases and track approvals.
• Greet and support home staff to maintain clothing closets.
