Job summary

Arbor Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Closing Coordinator in California to ensure CofO readiness and seamless closings across communities.

You will coordinate with lenders, title partners, and Area Managers, prepare final closing docs, and manage escrow-related costs while ensuring ownership transfers occur smoothly at closing.

• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CofO readiness across communities and projects.
• Coordinate closing timelines with lenders, title partners, and area managers.
• Prepare and distribute final closing documentation and key packages.
• Manage CDs, title/escrow fees, and related expenses.
• Coordinate closing document preparation and related paperwork.
• Ensure smooth ownership transfer at closing and act as authorized signer.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Monitor Certificate of Occupancy (CofO) readiness.
• Coordinate closing timelines with lenders, title partners, and Area Managers.
• Prepare and distribute final closing documentation and key packages.
• Manage CDs, title/escrow fees, and related expenses.
• Coordinate closing document preparation and RWC paperwork.
• Send inspection reports to lenders by community (bi-weekly; Liz to train team).
• Ensure smooth ownership transfer at closing.
• Act as authorized signers, as scheduled.
• Cash sales w/ Escrow Holdback by Community
• Move Folders, Print emails, update CWS
• Missing CofO’s by Community
• Owner of all Lender Communication; including OSL’s
• Missing Title Work – by community
