Job summary

Custom Wood Products, a division of Pulito Closets + Garages + More, seeks a motivated Sales Designer to grow our Kansas City metro presence. You will meet homeowners, measure spaces, design solutions, and guide customers through the sales process, coordinating projects from consultation to installation.

You will develop new business across Kansas City, network with builders and designers, and travel throughout the metro as needed. Training and support are provided by an established manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years previous sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized and highly detail oriented.
• Creative with an eye for design.
• Comfortable networking and building professional relationships.
• Confident working independently and managing multiple projects.
• Ability to handle a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge.
• Experience in closets, cabinetry, interior design, construction, remodeling, or home improvement is a plus, but not required. Training provided.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the Kansas City metro.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand storage, space, style, and budget needs.
• Measure spaces and create designs using design software.
• Present designs and pricing; guide customers through sales process.
• Manage customer projects from consultation through installation.
• Develop new business and generate leads across Kansas City metro.
• Build relationships with builders, remodelers, interior designers, real estate pros, and referral partners.
• Participate in networking events, home shows, and community events.
• Maintain follow-up and manage sales pipeline.
• Grow the Mission showroom and Pulito's presence in Kansas City.
