Custom Wood Products, Inc., through its PULITO Closets + Garages + More division, seeks a motivated Closet Designer/Sales Representative for the Mission showroom to grow our Kansas City presence. You will design, measure, and sell custom storage solutions, while building relationships with homeowners and trade partners.

The role combines design expertise with sales and project management in a growing KC market, with a base salary and uncapped commission after an initial training period.

Qualifications

• 3+ years previous sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Kansas City metro.
• Experience in closets or interior design is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Grow With Us.**PULITO Closets + Garages + More, a division of Custom Wood Products, is looking for a motivated Sales Designer to help grow our presence throughout the Kansas City metro. We design, manufacture, and install custom organization systems for closets, garages, pantries, home offices, laundry rooms, Murphy beds, and more. Our products are proudly manufactured in Maple Hill, Kansas.With established designers serving the Topeka, Lawerence and Manhattan markets and a showroom already in Mission, KS, we're ready to grow Kansas City. We're looking for someone who wants to sell, design, build relationships, and take ownership of developing this market.**Essential Functions:*** Meet with homeowners to understand their storage, organization, style, and budget needs.* Measure spaces and create custom designs using our design software.* Present designs and pricing and guide customers through the sales process.* Manage customer projects from initial consultation through installation.* Develop new business and actively generate leads throughout the Kansas City metro.* Build relationships with builders, remodelers, interior designers, real estate professionals, and other referral partners.* Participate in networking events, home shows, and community events.* Maintain consistent follow-up and manage your sales pipeline.* Help grow the Mission showroom and PULITO's presence throughout Kansas City.**Compensation*** The position begins with a $40,000 annualized guaranteed salary during the initial six-month training and market-development period.* Following the initial development period, compensation transitions to a base salary plus uncapped commission, giving you the opportunity to grow your income as you grow your market.**Training & Support*** Initial training will take place primarily at our manufacturing facility in Maple Hill, KS, where you'll learn our products, design software, measuring, pricing, sales process, and manufacturing capabilities.* After training, you'll primarily serve the Kansas City metro with our Mission showroom as your home base.* You'll have the backing of an established Kansas manufacturer, experienced designers, and our production and installation teams while having the opportunity to make the Kansas City territory your own.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** High School Diploma or equivalent is required* 3+ years previous sales or customer service is preferred* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal* Organized and highly detail oriented* Creative with an eye for design* Comfortable networking and building professional relationships* Confident working independently and managing multiple projects* Ability to handle a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge* Experience in closets, cabinetry, interior design, construction, remodeling, or home improvement is a plus, but not required.
