Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Research Program Manager to oversee clinical and basic research trials across multiple departments. You will coordinate operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and staff support for the Trivedi Lab and affiliated CTN activities.

The ideal candidate has 8 years of related experience, with leadership of multisite trials and strong NIH grant management skills.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree in science, finance or related field
8 years of related experience in research, research administration or non-profit administration and must be familiar with NIH research grant preparation and management; advanced PC expertise including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software

Responsibilities

Oversight of lab research operations, regulatory compliance and personnel management for Dr. Trivedi’s research and education efforts.
Clinical Trials Network Support: engage in study site support, regulatory management, liaising with sponsors and CTN activities.
Financial management: develop, implement and track operating budgets for Trivedi Lab.
Human Resources: support HR processes and lab staff engagement.
Regulatory and Compliance Tracking: ensure projects meet sponsor targets, timelines, metrics and audits.
Proposals, publications, and reports preparation and coordination with infrastructure teams.
Space and facilities management for lab space on- and off-campus.
Program planning and development for new/revised programs including budget and staffing.
Communications management of lab materials and websites in partnership with Marketing/Communications.
Data management methods development for Trivedi Lab goals and grant submissions.
Performs other duties as assigned by Center Director/Senior Manager/Leadership Team.
