The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced Manager of Clinical Research to lead the Office of Clinical Research. You will oversee multi-site trials from startup to closeout, ensuring milestones are met within budget and in strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in clinical research and site startup management.
• Experience overseeing monitoring and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to meet milestones on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversees DOTs’ organizational and operational activities and sets performance standards.
• Coordinates with DOT managers and faculty to set training and competency needs.
• Manages trial budgeting, cost recovery, and revenue for DOT functions.
• Develops best practices for DOT compliance and internal monitoring programs.
• Leads committees to review SOPs and update procedures as needed.
• Ensures high-level EDC expertise for IITs and trains staff accordingly.
• Oversees biospecimen handling and storage with institutional resources.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
