Job summary

University of Washington in the Division of Hematology & Oncology is seeking a Clinical Trials Budget Specialist to join the Central Administration Finance team. The role focuses on budgeting for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials and on revenue-cycle strategy and oversight.

Reporting to the Clinical Research Budget Manager, you will negotiate budgets with sponsors, coordinate with UW and FHCC offices, and perform post-award revenue reconciliations using ONCORE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or Health-related field and 3+ years in clinical research budgeting.
• Experience reviewing study budgets, contracts, and consent forms with investigators.
• Knowledge of regulatory and payer concepts in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review clinical trial budgets and manage revenue cycle.
• Negotiate budgets and payment terms with sponsors.
• Coordinate with UW and FHCC offices on budgets and contracts.
• Perform post-award revenue reconciliation and identify invoiceable items.
• Use CTMS ONCORE for financial reconciliation.
