Job summary

The University of Washington's Division of Hematology & Oncology is seeking a Clinical Trials Budget Specialist to oversee budgeting, pricing negotiations, and revenue cycle strategy for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials.

You will work with investigators and cross-institution teams, use ONCORE for financial reconciliation, and ensure regulatory compliance and fiscal accountability throughout study budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of clinical research budgeting or related healthcare experience.
  • Experience with clinical trial budgeting and revenue cycle processes.
  • Familiarity with budgeting for investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and negotiate clinical trial budgets and payment terms with sponsors.
  • Oversee revenue recovery and complex financial reconciliations across studies.
  • Coordinate with UW/Fred Hutch and other partners to ensure compliant budgets and contracts.
