The role emphasizes quality, training, and continuous monitoring, requiring collaboration with sponsors and internal teams to ensure accurate budgeting and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience in clinical research, including industry-funded trials or exposure to budgets and contracts.
• Experience negotiating budgets and contracts.
• Experience with Excel, eBridge, or financial systems (e.g., Encore).
• Knowledge of research billing compliance and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical trial budgets, reviewing protocols to ensure costs and resource allocation are captured.
• Collaborate with investigators, staff, administration and sponsors to create complete, accurate budgets.
• Apply appropriate research rates to study budgets.
• Negotiate and finalize budgets with sponsors and extramural sources.
• Enter and maintain budgets in OnCore CTMS for reimbursement and revenue integrity.
