Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks a detail-oriented specialist to coordinate clinical trials invoicing and budget reconciliation.

You will review protocols to identify billable procedures, distinguish standard of care from research charges, and work with multiple departments to implement study-specific billing plans. Responsibilities include building budgets from sponsor proposals, finalizing monthly invoices, and ensuring accurate billing through the life of each study.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Five years of experience in Finance or Business Management areas.

Responsibilities

• Review new protocols, amendments and investigator-initiated studies to identify procedures and services and build a budget for billing.
• Coordinate with departments to create billing plans that distinguish SOC vs Research procedures.
• Manage invoicing, revenue tracking and reconciliation with sponsor communications.
• Prepare study budgets from internal costs and sponsor proposals and coordinate inclusion in the clinical trial agreement.
• Ensure SOC vs Research billing alignment and proper routing of charges to research.
