Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Independence, MO seeks a Clinical Training and Development Partner to shape clinical education, drive quality care, and support leaders across the system.

You will assess learning needs, design and deliver trainings, monitor outcomes, and maintain training materials while ensuring compliance with standards. A Master’s in Mental Health and licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health or closely related field.
• Provisionally licensed or fully licensed candidates preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or related clinical licensure).
• Knowledge of adult learning theories.
• Experience developing, facilitating, or coordinating training programs.
• Background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect screening, and fingerprint check required; driver's license and insurance needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational learning and development needs usingEvaluation methods and stakeholder feedback.
• Develop, design, and deliver engaging clinical and operational training programs.
• Facilitate internal and external trainings for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with leaders and departments to support workforce development initiatives.
• Create and maintain training materials and resources using approved branding.
• Coordinate and communicate training opportunities across programs and regions.
• Monitor training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain training calendars and training records; support budget planning for training activities.
