Job summary

KenCCID is seeking a Training Coordinator to provide job-specific training for Community House Managers and Direct Support Professionals. The role reports to the Training Manager and involves developing, delivering, and tracking training using the LMS.

You will ensure staff meet 6100/6400 regulatory requirements and coordinate with HR and Compliance. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience (or an associate with 5 years), ODP and CPR training credentials, and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in training adults, particularly in health care or developmental disabilities; ability to facilitate retention and application of trained content.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field with three years of experience, or an associate degree with five years of experience.
• Maintain valid Driver’s License.
• ODP certification or ability to achieve within 90 days; CPR trainer certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in job-specific areas for CHMs and DSPs under the Training Manager.
• Deliver or facilitate NHO training and coordinate internal trainers.
• Utilize LMS to track and deliver training content.
• Ensure compliance with 6100 and 6400 regulations; update trainings accordingly.
• Schedule training sessions, prepare materials, and ensure availability of trainers.
• Cross-train staff to cover instructor absences; monitor training expiration dates.

English fluency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years experience or associate degree with 5 years

ODP certification as a medication administration trainer

CPR trainer certification

SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
