Job summary

Orchard Village is seeking a full-time Training Coordinator to design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive competency-based training program for agency staff. You will deliver DHS-approved training for Direct Support Professionals and QIDPs, coordinate new employee orientation, and manage training records and reporting.

The role supports quality improvement across departments. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in education or social services, 2 years in developmental disabilities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or social services is required.
• Two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
• Illinois QIDP certification is required by state rules.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive training program.
• Provide and manage DHS-approved training for Direct Support Professionals and QIDPs.
• Lead in-house classes, seminars, and new employee orientation.
• Coordinate external trainers and online training opportunities.
• Maintain training records and generate reports.
• Support quality enhancement processes and data reporting.
