The California Poison Control System (CPCS) at UCSF Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for the Fresno Division, located on the Valley Children’s Hospital campus in Madera, CA. You will respond to emergency toxicology calls, provide information, and deliver management advice while collaborating with medical staff.

Qualified candidates hold a Pharm.D. and a California pharmacist license, with strong drug information, toxicology and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree and California pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Strong drug information, pharmacology and toxicology knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; adaptable to callers.

Responsabilités

• Provide assessment, information and management advice for toxicology calls.
• Offer in-depth consultation and follow-up for emergency poisoning cases.
• Participate in scholarly activities including research, publications and professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
