The California Poison Control System (CPCS) operates under UCSF and serves California residents with 24/7 toxicology support. The role provides assessment, information, management advice, and follow-up for emergency calls, and participates in scholarly activities through research and professional organizations.

Candidates must be a licensed CA pharmacist, have Pharm.D., and be prepared to work an average of 80 hours per two weeks across days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, with strong

Competenze

• Pharmacist with Pharm.D. degree and CA license in good standing or by start date.
• Strong drug information skills and knowledge of pharmacology, toxicology, and pathophysiology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to callers from diverse backgrounds.
