Job summary

Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine is seeking a Clinical Applications Manager to own the clinical technology stack, including EHR, Practice Management, PACS, interfaces, and reporting tools. The role bridges clinical operations, IT, and vendor partners to ensure reliable, efficient systems that support patient care and provider productivity.

You will lead system upgrades, configuration, access controls, training, and governance, develop standards, drive user adoption, and coordinate multi-location

Qualifications

• Experience administering EHR and practice management systems in ambulatory/outpatient healthcare.
• Experience with PACS, DICOM, and imaging workflows in a clinical environment.
• Experience with clinical interface engines (HL7) or interoperability tools.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, RBAC and identity management.
• Strong PM skills to manage multiple clinical technology initiatives.
• Ability to communicate with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders and train non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the EHR and practice management platforms across locations and ensure reliability.
• Lead PACS, imaging, and interface management, including data integrations.
• Drive clinical technology projects from planning through adoption and upgrades.
• Develop governance standards, SOPs, and consistent workflows.
• Design and deliver clinician training and user adoption resources.
• Manage vendor relationships and lifecycle planning for clinical tech assets.
