Job summary

Barbour Orthopaedics & Spine seeks a Clinical Applications Manager to own the clinical technology stack, including EHR, Practice Management, and PACS. You will partner with clinicians and IT to optimize workflows, manage interfaces, and lead projects that improve patient care.

You will drive user adoption, develop governance standards, and deliver training to staff across multiple locations. This is a high-visibility role bridging clinical operations and technology.

Qualifications

• Experience administering EHR and practice management systems in ambulatory/outpatient healthcare.
• Experience with PACS/DICOM and medical imaging workflows in a clinical environment.
• Experience with clinical interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect) or other HL7/interoperability tools.
• Working knowledge of healthcare data security and privacy requirements (HIPAA), RBAC, and identity management.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clinical technology initiatives concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders, and to deliver training to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the organization's EHR and Practice Management platforms, ensuring reliability and access across locations.
• Oversee PACS, imaging connectivity, and clinical interfaces; manage data integrations.
• Lead clinical technology projects from planning through adoption and rollout.
• Develop governance, standards, SOPs, and standardized workflows across locations.
• Design training programs and resources; drive user adoption and operational readiness.
