Job summary

My Ideal Recruiter is seeking a Clinical Applications Manager to own the core clinical technology environment in the Atlanta area. You will be the go-to owner for the EHR platform, imaging systems, and clinical interfaces, driving proactive system management and staff training across multiple clinic sites.

This hands-on, high-visibility role offers leadership growth and close collaboration with leadership, the interface developer, and clinicians, with opportunities to expand into broader IT

Qualifications

• Experience managing ambulatory EHRs (NextGen preferred; Epic acceptable).
• Experience with patient engagement tools and payment platforms in clinical settings.
• Exposure to ambulatory surgery center information systems is a plus.
• Solid understanding of imaging workflows (PACS/DICOM).
• Familiarity with clinical interface engines (Mirth Connect) or similar.
• Strong project management, governance, and rollout experience.
• Service-minded, patient-focused approach to training and support.

Responsibilities

• Own the EHR and practice management platform across all sites, including access, configuration, and uptime.
• Manage imaging connectivity and interfaces with clinical platforms; collaborate with an interface developer.
• Lead technology rollouts for new clinic openings, coordinating hardware readiness and staff training.
• Develop governance standards and SOPs for clinical tech use.
• Design and deliver training for providers and staff on systems and tools.
• Serve as the main liaison between clinical staff, IT/support, MSP, and vendors.
• Contribute to custom development and reporting, including imaging reports in the EHR and AI-assisted documentation.
