As we continue to grow across multiple locations, we're investing in a dedicated leader who will take ownership of our clinical technology ecosystem and help shape the future of care delivery.

We are seeking a Clinical Applications Manager who will serve as the single accountable owner for our clinical technology stack, including our Electronic Health Record (EHR), Practice Management System, PACS/Imaging platforms, clinical interfaces, reporting tools, and related technologies. This is a highly visible role that bridges clinical operations, technology, and vendor partnerships to ensure our systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable collaborating with physicians, training clinical staff, managing vendors, leading projects, and optimizing workflows that directly impact patient care and provider productivity.

EHR & Practice Management System Ownership
  • Serve as the primary administrator and owner of the organization's EHR and Practice Management platforms.
  • Ensure system reliability, configuration management, user access administration, and operational performance across all locations.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to optimize workflows and system utilization.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and issue resolution efforts.
PACS, Imaging & Clinical Interface Management
  • Own the performance, integrity, and connectivity of PACS, DICOM, and imaging-related technologies.
  • Oversee clinical interfaces and data integrations between systems, including interface engine technologies.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and system interoperability.
  • Coordinate with vendors and IT partners to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
Clinical Technology Project Leadership
  • Lead clinical technology projects from planning through implementation and adoption.
  • Manage new clinic launches, technology deployments, and system upgrades.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, resources, and vendor activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive user adoption and operational readiness for new technologies.
Clinical Technology Governance & Standardization
  • Develop and maintain technology standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Establish consistent reporting processes and clinical technology workflows across all practice locations.
  • Promote best practices that improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Ensure documentation remains current and accessible.
Clinical Training & User Adoption
  • Design and deliver training programs for providers, clinical staff, and operational teams.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and ongoing educational resources.
  • Support change management initiatives to maximize technology adoption and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders on system capabilities and enhancements.
Clinical Hardware & Vendor Management
  • Establish standards for clinical technology hardware and equipment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clinical staff, IT support teams, managed service providers (MSPs), and technology vendors.
  • Coordinate implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle planning for clinical technology assets.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality and performance expectations are met.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience administering EHR and practice management systems in an ambulatory/outpatient healthcare setting.
  • Experience with PACS, DICOM, and medical imaging workflows in a clinical environment.
  • Experience with clinical interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect) or other HL7/interoperability tools.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data security and privacy requirements (HIPAA), role-based access, and identity management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clinical technology initiatives concurrently.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders, and to deliver training to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NextGen experience
  • Degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience writing SQL queries for healthcare operational data extraction, validation, and reporting.
