Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital – Acute Care Unit is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 for a part-time role with days 7:00AM–7:30PM and rotating weekends/holidays. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and communicate effectively with the care team.

The role includes six weeks of paid training with virtual orientations, modules, classroom sessions, and on-unit shifts, plus opportunities for professional development within a leading nonprofit health

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year as Clinical Technician or completed acute care rotations and nursing program enrollment.
• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Clinical Technician 2 – Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience:1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completed an acute care clinical rotations, and actively enrolled in a nursing program

• Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire

• Special Skills:Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English

• Physical Requirements:Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
