Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia’s ICU – Cardiovascular unit is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. The role involves direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and requires strong communication.

The schedule is Full Time with rotating day and night shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and weekends/holidays rotation. Training is provided, and Inova offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
