Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital - Acute Care Unit is hiring a Clinical Technician 2 in Leesburg, VA. This part-time role runs days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision and communicate effectively with the care team.

A six-week training period includes virtual orientations, training modules, classroom sessions, and on-unit shifts. Requirements: high school diploma, 1 year TEC experience or nursing rotations, BLS, and strong

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year working as a Clinical Technician, or completed acute care rotations and nursing program enrollment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available six (6) weeks for non-consecutive paid training, including virtual orientations, training modules, classroom sessions, and on-unit shifts.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.

• Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completed an acute care clinical rotations, and actively enrolled in a nursing program
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
