Job summary

Inova Mount Vernon Hospital - Rehab Nursing is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician to join the team. This part-time daytime role runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating days, weekends, and holidays.

You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and communicate effectively with the care team while upholding professionalism across the healthcare system. Training includes the Clinical Technician Academy and virtual orientations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs

Training:

• Clinical Technician Academy (CTA): 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday - Friday schedule - regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
