Inova Mount Vernon Hospital - Intermediate Care Unit seeks a dedicated Clinical Technician to join the team for full-time night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating days, weekends and holidays. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision and emphasizes clear communication, professionalism, and integrity within Inova’s healthcare system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and BLS certification (AHA) with English verbal/written proficiency.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs

Training:

Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):

• 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday - Friday schedule - regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
