Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital – Postpartum is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician to join our care team. The role is full-time with night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, involving rotating days, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

This schedule for this role will be Full -time | Nights | 6:00PM - 6:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays.

Training:

Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):

• 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday - Friday schedule - regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
