Inova Fairfax Hospital - Peds Oncology is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. The role supports direct patient care under RN supervision, communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff, and upholds professionalism across the care continuum.

The position requires a high school diploma, BLS certification (or within 90 days of hire), strong English communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Training weeks are provided prior to on-unit shifts.

This schedule for this role will be Rotations | 6:00PM - 6:30AM & 6:00AM - 6:30PM| Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
