Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the Observation Unit on a full-time night schedule. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, communicate effectively with the care team and patients, and maintain professionalism within Inova's healthcare system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification within 90 days of hire, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED/HSE) required.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital – Observation Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Nights | 7:00PM – 7:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
