Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 for the Fairfax, VA area. The role operates on a Full Time night schedule (7:00PM–7:30AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, providing direct patient care under RN supervision and strong communication with the care team.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork and professional conduct within a nationally recognized healthcare system. Training is provided and benefits support team members’ health, retirement, education and work-life

Qualifications

• Must possess or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Training :

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
