Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital - Oncology is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This is a full-time daytime role with 7:00AM–7:30PM shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

The clinician will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, communicate clearly with the care team, and maintain professional standards across the health system. Training is provided prior to independently handling duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
