Inova Alexandria Hospital - ICU Med Surg is seeking a Clinical Technician to join the team. The role is full-time nights (6:00PM - 6:30AM) with rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided in Falls Church, VA, with an initial Monday-Friday first week.

Clinical Technician - Job Responsibilities

• To learn more about a day in the life of Clinical Technician,
• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training:

6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM - 4:30PM

1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM

1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

• Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday - Friday schedule - regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
