Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the ICU - Med Surg team. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision and requires strong communication skills and a high school diploma.

Inova Fairfax Hospital – ICU - Med Surgis looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Rotations: Days& Nights | 6:00AM-6:30PM & 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.


• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.


• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.


• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)


• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)


• Virtual training modules.


• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.


• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire


• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English


• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
