Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital—Float Pool is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 Float to join our team. The role supports patient care under RN supervision and involves rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Rotations: Days & Nights| 6:00AM – 6:30PM & 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays |

Training

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
