Inova Fairfax Hospital's Acute Pulmonary Unit is hiring a Clinical Technician 1 to join a rotating day/night schedule. The role provides direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, with rotating days, weekends and holidays on a 12-hour shift from 6:00 AM–6:30 PM and 6:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Training :

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
