Job summary

ForTec Medical is seeking a Clinical Technology Specialist to support the use of advanced surgical technologies. You will receive comprehensive training and play a vital role in ensuring equipment is properly set up and used during procedures.

Responsibilities include preop checks, sterilization, transport of equipment, and maintaining documentation. Strong communication and customer service skills are required, with occasional travel and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight travel.
• Professional demeanor and strong team-oriented mindset.
• Must meet credentialing requirements including immunizations and background checks as required.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• High School diploma or equivalent and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies, providing guidance to surgeons and staff before and during surgery.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, calibrations, and complete documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to facilities; driving and travel required.
• Practice safe vehicle operation and laser safety techniques.
• Build strong, professional relationships with ForTec team members and healthcare partners.
