Job summary

ForTec Medical seeks a Clinical Technology Specialist to set up and operate advanced surgical technologies, with comprehensive training provided to thrive in the role.

The position involves preoperative checks, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and transporting devices to facilities. You will drive regularly, support surgeons, and build strong relationships with healthcare partners while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Flex schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight travel.
• Professional demeanor and strong team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer/smartphone proficiency.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to push, pull, and manipulate medical equipment over 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies and provide technical guidance to surgeons and staff.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to facilities; driving and travel required.
• Practice safe vehicle operations and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs and foster strong professional relationships with ForTec teammates and healthcare partners.
