Job summary

ForTec Medical, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Technology Specialist to expertly set up and operate advanced surgical technologies. The role emphasizes thorough training to prepare you for successful operations and collaboration with surgeons and staff throughout procedures.

You will perform preoperative checks, calibrations, and documentation, with occasional travel. A valid U.S. driver’s license and physical ability to handle equipment are required as you contribute to patient care and equipment

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible schedule with early mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight travel.
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer/smartphone proficiency.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and operate medical equipment safely.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies to provide technical equipment guidance as needed to surgeons and staff before and during surgery.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and complete necessary documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies to healthcare facilities. Driving is an everyday responsibility of this role with occasional overnight travel.
• Practice safe vehicle operations, safe workplace practices, and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs, provide exceptional customer service, and foster strong, professional relationships with both ForTec team members and healthcare partners.
