Job summary

ForTec Medical is seeking a Clinical Technology Specialist to ensure successful use of advanced surgical technologies. The role includes comprehensive training to build confidence and expertise. Primary duties involve setup and operation of equipment, preoperative checks, and ensuring safe transportation of devices to healthcare facilities.

Occasional overnight travel is expected. You will work with surgeons and staff, providing exceptional customer service, and maintain compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Flex schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends or overnight travel may be required.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Basic computer/smartphone proficiency at work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate heavy medical equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies and provide guidance to surgeons and staff.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, calibrations, and complete documentation.
• Load, transport, and deliver technologies to healthcare facilities; driving required with occasional overnight travel.
• Adhere to safety protocols, laser safety techniques, and safe vehicles practices.
• Meet customer needs and maintain strong professional relationships with ForTec team members and healthcare partners.
