Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide daily patient care under RN supervision, assisting with ADLs, data collection, and non-sterile treatments in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will perform phlebotomy where assigned, take vital signs, and support families; must maintain flexible hours and participate in mandatory trainings to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA credential, EMT, or relevant clinical healthcare experience.
• Completion of phlebotomy or nursing-related training may be acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct daily patient care activities including activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Collect data: weights, temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
• Perform non-sterile treatments; apply cold compresses.
• Perform specimen collection and phlebotomy where assigned.
• Use effective interpersonal skills in all interactions.
• Maintain active involvement in mandatory inservices and related educational activities.
• Be flexible with time as assignment changes to meet unit needs.
