Posting Title: Clinical Tech. (Medical Assistant) Overview

At Fast Pace Health, Clinical Techs provide vital clinical and administrative support under the supervision of Providers, Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants. They deliver outstanding patient service, maintain a compassionate environment, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses. The role emphasizes effective communication and excellent customer service for all internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all duties of the Patient Care Specialist as outlined in the specific job description.
  2. Maintain friendly, professional relationships with colleagues and patients, building trust and credibility.
  3. Provide clinical and administrative support, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Follow the Company’s Core Values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  5. Ensure activities comply with department standards, federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
  6. Prepare exam and treatment rooms, perform patient triage, chart observations, assist with lab testing, and support provider procedures.
  7. Maintain supplies and equipment, assist with virtual patient interactions, and ensure timely documentation.
  8. Coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations, perform specific exams, and uphold confidentiality and cleanliness standards.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clerical tasks, verify insurance, and support team communication.

Supporting Telehealth:

  • Prepare patient charts via virtual communication, assist with follow-ups, and coordinate clinical calls.

Additional Requirements:

Level 1: High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR license, 1+ year in a clinical role preferred.

Levels 2-4: Certified MA, EMT, or Paramedic with current CPR; experience requirements increase with level.

Additional duties include scheduling, training, and administrative tasks as assigned.

*Active CPR license required within 7 days of hire.

Experience & Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ year clinical experience preferred; active and valid license or certification required; TB and IV certifications within 60 days if applicable.
