Job summary

Memorial Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) to join the Orthopedics team. You will support providers, nurses and the care team, helping keep the clinical environment running smoothly while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with medical assisting or CNA background preferred. You’ll thrive in a busy practice, learn quickly, and contribute to getting patients back to what they love.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; Medical Assisting program or CNA certification is preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: BCLS current; Medical Assisting or CNA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and related laws.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification, New Hampshire LNA , EMT and EMTA preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current BCLS required. Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification. New Hampshire LNA, EMT, and EMTA preferred.
  3. Experience: N/A
  4. Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff
  6. Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking and prioritizing
  7. Ability to respond the changing workload based on patient census
  8. Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations

The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).

In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offerscomprehensivebenefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and,where applicable,shiftdifferentials or other incentives.
