Job summary

Memorial Hospital’s Orthopedics team is seeking a Clinical Team Assistant to join our care team. In this role you’ll support providers, nurses, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and compassionate patient‑centered service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification, with NH LNA/ EMT/ EMTA preferred. You’ll assist with charting, patient flow, and coordinating daily tasks in a busy orthopedic

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification, New Hampshire LNA, EMT and EMTA preferred.
  • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
  • Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking and prioritizing.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification, New Hampshire LNA , EMT and EMTA preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current BCLS required. Graduate of accredited Medical Assisting program or active Maine CNA certification. New Hampshire LNA, EMT, and EMTA preferred.
  • Experience: N/A
  • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff

  • Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $21.09 to $27.12 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
