Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency with two years in substance abuse field; or
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field with 1 year in counseling/chemical addictions; or
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences.

Responsabilités

• Supervises clients' therapeutic and recreational activities and monitors movement.
• Provides didactic sessions after internal training; may present chemical dependency education and life skills classes.
• Guides clients to comply with center rules; initiates routines and notifies when residents fail to comply.
• Maintains and updates client records including hours, treatments, activities, and progress.
• Participates in treatment planning and coordination of client interactions.
