Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency with two (2) years of prior experience in the substance abuse field.
• An Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in any unrelated area of study and one (1) year of experience in counseling or chemical addictions.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any of the social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clients' therapeutic and recreational activities and monitors movement and behavior.
• Provides didactic sessions after internal training and may teach chemical dependency education and life skills.
• Guides clients to comply with Center rules and notifies staff of noncompliance.
• Maintains client records and documents clinical hours and progress per requirements.
• Acts as part of the treatment team and helps plan client interactions and protocols.
• Performs clerical tasks and supports program services and inquiries.
