Job summary

Gateway Foundation is seeking a Clinical Support Technician to support clients in a correctional healthcare setting. You will supervise activities, monitor safety, and assist in implementing treatment plans under clinical supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; additional degrees or relevant experience are valued. Duties include maintaining records, coordinating with the treatment team, and providing preventative care activities in a structured 7:30 am–4:30 pm workday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency with two years of experience in the substance abuse field; or
• Associate's degree and one year of experience in counseling or chemical addictions field; or
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Supervises clients’ therapeutic and recreational activities and monitors behavior.
• Provides didactic sessions after internal training; may present education on chemical dependency and life skills.
• Guides clients to comply with center rules and initiates routines; notifies staff of non-compliance.
