UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Clinical Support Technician I to assist the professional caregiver in delivering patient care, transport patients and equipment, and maintain patient rooms. The role combines nursing assistant responsibilities with health unit coordinator tasks on a 36-hour-workweek in a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Nursing Assistant I certification per NC DHHS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to a nurse or physician.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, assist nurses, review and transcribe orders, maintain medical records, and conduct QA audits.
