BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under the guidance of the Center Physician and Center Manager. The role supports EHS and vaccination programs with a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Applicants should have an EMT or nursing license valid in the state and at least two years of clinical or hospital experience. This is a full-time on-site position at our Mesquite, TX center.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold current EMT or nursing license as applicable to responsibilities.
• Experience in donor screening, medical history interviews and consent.
• Knowledge of SOPs for medical emergencies and safety.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience required.

Aufgaben

• Determine donor eligibility, including consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review lab test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide center level medical support under Center Manager and Physician guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and manage occupational health incidents.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
