Job summary

National-Spine-and-Pain-Center is seeking a Support Services Technician to assist the healthcare team during pain management visits. The role supports administrative tasks and implements daily supply and inventory processes to keep the practice running smoothly.

You will greet patients, manage check-ins, schedule follow-ups and coordinate with providers. A Medical Assistant certificate and at least one year of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certificate required.
• At least one year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of information at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with all ancillary programs and support needs.
• Collect urine specimens per SOP and ensure proper patient IDs and billing paperwork.
• Prepare, ship and track braces and ensure timely billing for brace orders.
• Explain TENs unit to patients and provide proper use instructions.
• Maintain TENs unit inventory and place orders as needed.
• Manage administrative tasks: check-in/out patients, schedule appointments, answer calls, and prep charts.
• Ensure HIPAA/compliance and company policies are followed.
• Work across multiple NSPC locations as needed.
