Job summary

NSPC is seeking a Support Services Technician to assist the healthcare team during pain management visits, handling administrative and ancillary duties to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will collect specimens, assist with brace fittings, explain TENs unit use, manage inventory, and support the Program Coordinator with daily tasks while upholding HIPAA and OSHA compliance. This role emphasizes accuracy, empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant certificate required.
• At least one year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of information at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assists with providing support as needed for all ancillary programs of the practice.
• Collects urine specimens from patients in compliance with procedures and ensures proper labeling.
• Fits patients with braces, places orders, and coordinates follow-up for proper fit.
• Explains TENs unit use and maintains onsite inventory and ordering.
• Monitors supplements inventory, logs, billing, and communicates with the Program Coordinator.
• Greets patients, checks in/out, schedules follow-ups, and manages patient flow in the waiting area.
• Ensures compliance with all NSPC policies, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
